Once you’ve started to see the benefits of using Elite Serum Rx to reduce the appearance of eye wrinkles and dark circles, it is time to step up your makeup game and show off your fresher, younger looking eyes! We have gathered up some of our personal favorite eyeshadow, mascara and eyeliner tips to give you a few ideas that will draw attention to your beautiful new eyes. No matter what color your eyes are, we have a way to make them pop.

Bringing Out Brown Eyes

The key to an amazing brown eye look is using contrast in your favor. Makeup artists recommend a bold blue color with a bit of shimmer to make your eyes stand out. For people with very light brown eyes, a dark brown eyeshadow can create contrast when used with a bright liner. On the other hand, people with deeper brown eyes can use a light brown color to enhance their look. A nude color palette along with a rich liner can provide a natural look that still brings out the brown tones of the eye.

Going Green

People with green eyes can’t go wrong with a little bit of pink and sparkle. Green eyes are usually a softer color, and look best when paired with shimmery eyeshadow that isn’t too dark. However, that mellow shadow can always be paired with dramatic and sharp eyeliner in jet black. This produces the effect of a brilliant frame around the eye itself, bringing out the natural green.

Blazing Blues

Blue eyes come in a wide range of shades, but almost always look great with a brown liner and a dusky eyeshadow. Copper, brown and other dark shadows make the bright blue of the eyes stand out. A softer eyeliner technique also makes blue eyes stand out more.

Changing the Size of Your Eyes

If you want to change the appearance of your eyes by either making them look smaller or larger, there are also several helpful hints for eyeliner and mascara application to consider.

People with very small eyes can try skipping the eyeshadow altogether and just using two different shades of eyeliner instead. Apply dark eyeliner as normal, and then add a second line of a brightly colored liner above it. Or use a dark shade of liner on the top lid and a bright shade beneath the eye to make your eyes stand out.

For people with smaller, round eyes, applying eyeliner to only the outer half of the lids, and skipping the inner corner can make the eyes look larger as well. Add extra thick mascara to draw out your lashes.

If you want to make your eyes look smaller, create depth with dark liner applied tightly to the inner rim of your eyelids. Use dark shades of eyeshadow at the corners of your eyelids to make them appear smaller as well. Curl your lashes and apply a quick layer of mascara to hold them in place.
